Pastor Elaine is the president and founder of Allegra Ministries. She has served in church settings for over 25 years, and became ordained in 2001. Her varied ministerial experiences have included serving as an associate pastor, jail chaplain, pastoral counselor, spiritual director, church leadership consultant, V.P. of prayer for an Aglow Area Board, teacher in children’s ministries, member of drama ministry teams, short term missionary, board member for a pregnancy resource center, and a recovery group facilitator. She has also worked on behalf of the persecuted church. Once her husband, Kendall, retires from his corporate career, they plan to co-facilitate recovery groups and establish a spiritual retreat center on their 20-acre property.

Elaine has 30 years of experience in education, primarily biblical education, including the co-founding of Shekinah Bible College. She is currently working with her team to establish a Christian College. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Ministerial Studies, M.A. in Spiritual Formation, and a Master of Divinity. Her doctorate in Christian Counseling is in process. She currently holds certificates in Spiritual Direction, Trauma Informed Services, Temperament Therapy, Addiction Recovery, and Biblical Counseling.

Kendall and Elaine have a passion for gardening and biking, and delight in ballroom dancing. They have 3 grown children, a spiritual son, and a grandson. Spending time with her seven-year-old grandson, Rome, is one of Elaine’s greatest joys.
